“Garden of Colour”
in Bahasa.
It captures our belief that great marketing should be vibrant, intentional, and human. Each offering under Taman Warna has its own colour, its own role — together forming a complete ecosystem for modern marketing teams.

Founder
James Smyllie
Founder & CEO
James has worked in marketing since 2002, holding senior leadership roles at WPP, IPG, and Dentsu across London, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with extensive experience in markets including Japan, Australia, China, South Africa, and the Middle East.
He has led agencies, scaled regional operations, and delivered campaigns for global clients such as Google, Microsoft, General Motors, Standard Chartered, adidas, Amazon, and LEGO.
In 2023, James was named Agency Head of the Year (APAC) by Campaign Magazine. He founded Taman Warna to help modern marketers escape the chaos — and get back to doing great work.
