We’re six months into the journey at Taman Warna Pte Ltd, a new kind of company built to enable creativity through smart tools, meaningful partnerships, and inspiring community experiences.

While some agency groups are doubling down on proprietary media trading to protect margins, the industry risks losing sight of what truly matters and what clients consistently tell us they value most: creativity.

As AI flattens the playing field in cost and delivery, creativity is fast becoming the only true differentiator. It remains the single most powerful driver of advertising effectiveness, and the most human.

At the outset of our journey, we asked several of APAC’s leading marketers what they wanted more of from their media partners. The answer wasn’t “cheaper,” “faster,” or even “more transparent.” It was “more creative.”

Creativity can’t be acquired or scaled through consolidation. But it can be enabled by reducing workflow friction, building better tools, and creating spaces that celebrate and inspire it. That’s the foundation of Taman Warna.

Introducing the Colours of Taman Warna

Each of our initiatives lives within Taman Warna - “Colourful Garden” in Bahasa Melayu, and is named after a shade from the Bahasa colour spectrum:

·

🟣 Ungu (Purple) – AI-Powered Tech Solutions

Ungu is our flagship AdTech initiative. It aims to simplify complexity in media by streamlining workflows and enabling easier access to high-impact, often underserved media channels.

We’re currently working with a small team of specialists on a Singapore-focused MVP, with plans to launch a localised, production-ready version at the end of the year.

🟡 Emas (Gold) – Strategic Representation

Emas is our strategic representation arm. As media platforms and publishers rethink their go-to-market approaches in Asia-Pacific, we’re partnering with a diverse range of players, from multinational media companies to AdTech startups, to help unlock smarter, more flexible growth in the region. These partnerships are helping shape how we provide commercial support: whether through representation, market entry planning, or partnership design.

🔴 Merah (Red) – Consulting & Strategy

Merah is where we roll up our sleeves. It’s our consulting and strategic advisory practice, offering flexible support to companies navigating change, growth, or complexity.

Over the past few months, we’ve helped a startup programmatic agency refine its go-to-market plan and advised several small businesses on digital marketing and positioning. Merah isn’t a traditional consultancy - it’s a hands-on, creative partner.

🔵 Biru (Blue) – Events & Community Experiences

Biru is the soul of what we do, creating cultural and community-driven experiences that bring marketers, makers, and media thinkers together to explore what’s next.

This initiative is still early-stage, but we’re excited by its potential to ignite creativity and build meaningful connections across the region.

Looking Ahead

In just six months, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with agencies, academics, marketers, government bodies, and media owners.

We’re still early in our story, but we’re building intentionally. To remove friction. To inspire creativity. And to bring more colour back to media and marketing.

If this resonates with you or if you’d like to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.
